Early Access Review
PROS:

It's a beautiful, immersive, relaxing game. Immediately I was hit with Journey vibes with how at peace I felt, further enhanced by the method of lore and storytelling the games guides you through.

It's easy to get lost in, to go go go from island to island and leap into combat or new biomes with glee. And at the same time, the game encourages you to relax, to breathe, to take a moment to lay down in the flower fields and watch the clouds slowly drift by. The music tugs at your heartstrings. The building options seem limitless. The animals are so stinking cute.

All in all, I love it.

CONS:

If I had one single complaint, it would be the struggle for charcoal. Given the lack of respawning opportunities and growing need for the material in late game crafting, it feels unbalanced. Very early on you are given a method to collect and create your own paper (even if it's a bit of a grind), but there's no means of creating your own charcoal. Would make more sense if you could burn your wood surplus in the fire pits or fireplaces. Hopefully it's something the developers introduce in a future patch. Because otherwise players are forced to jump into separate wolds to gain more of the limited resource.

CONCLUSION:
All in all, I would still highly recommend this game to other players. Just be aware that some of the resources ARE limited and try to plan accordingly. The grind is real, but still worth it in the end.
