Oh, this game looks pretty interesting, glad I managed to get it for cheap back at that recent "Best of Japan" sale..
Let's try it out- oh, well, there went 100 hours of my life in an instant.

First of all, thank you, devs.
Thank you for making me feel the same joy that I felt back when I first played through and did my subsequent playthroughs of Valkyrie Profile roughly more than half a decade ago.

tl;dr review:
Pros:

• Great Soundtrack

• No proper tutorial; rather, disjointed tutorials here and there

In-depth review:
I've been eagerly waiting for this game to be released and I have to say that it does not disappoint.
The soundtrack is great, the visuals are stunning and all the characters have such great and unique designs, brought to life even further thanks to their superb voice actors.

I'm such a big fan of Valkyrie Profile and upon playing this game I was struck with an intense wave of nostalgia and was subtly surprised at how much more complex the combat system is here in Indivisible compared to that of VP.

But as there are plenty of good things in the game, I would say that there are quite a few bad things in it, as well.
Mainly, the combat.
I honestly have no qualms about it as I managed to understand the mixups with each characters' directional arrow + attack as I have played VP before but this may come as a severely steep learning curve for players who are not familiar with this type of combat system; thus possibly scaring them off or stopping the game entirely out of frustration.
In line with this, I believe that a lack of a proper tutorial to better explain this would help unfamiliar players to get a better grasp on the combat system.

The story is about mediocre at the point where I am now (I just recently recruited Kushi and am possibly halfway inside the dungeon after meeting her). I feel as if the direction that the story is taking is far too generic and a bit predictable.
That may be my opinion in this case but don't get me wrong about the characters themselves. I've been loving all their little interactions ever since best girl Razmi joined your party.

All in all, this was a very enjoyable first glimpse into the game and I can see myself constantly replaying it with different team compositions just for fun.

I came for crack, not for feels and mood whiplash.

Got a neutral-happy-snowman ending on the first run. Yeah, it was nice.
Got the True Pacifist ending on my second run. Warmed my heart so much, made me love the characters even more.
Doing a Genocide run right now.
First time I've felt disgusted at myself.
Now excuse me, I've got to off a spaghetti loving puzzlemaker now.

11/10 this game ♥♥♥♥♥ you up so bad you keep coming back for more
