Best game ever made. A must play for everyone! Even if you're not into the wild west this game will make you a rootin tootin cowboy in no time.

The levels were fairly competent, I liked the diversity of locations even though they were just asset flips. Persona soundtrack is super cool. I can't get enough of the Half Life 2 core gameplay so I can't say no to such a mod. It's free after all.

EXCELLENT MOD! One of the best! The amount of creativity is frankly staggering. Few Puzzles were a bit weird but even I got through it without looking up a guide so it can't be that bad.

short but sweet

This game is so good that I'm even willing to overlook the afro-german soldiers and the super weird bald woman on the icon and the loading screen which I find super disrespectful considering ww1 is known for basically killing a whole generation of men but what can you do. Historical revisionism is the norm now.
Anyway... atmosphere, graphics, gameplay, guns, effects, sounds are all near PERFECT! no cap

This got me hooked! I can't wait to get more even though I can barely reach 40 fps but that's my problem. Also reminded me of Half Life 2 RTX in a few places

My least favorite Dark Souls game but still a Dark Souls game so I've had a good time with it.
The world is just not as exciting to explore as 1 and 2. The graphics are fine but the game lacks a certain artistic vision the other two have in my opinion.
Very little original stuff going on. If you've played 1 you've seen most of this game also. Two of the original locations were kinda cool but the rest were just meh.
Boss fights look cool but some of them have kinda frustrating moves. The camera sometimes doesn't want you to succeed either.
I'm also not a big fan of needless dying because of unwanted kicking, my character taking a nap each time after getting hit, unavoidable getting hit again while standing up and rolling by itself after exiting the stagger state. Some of these were problems in ds1 also but this game is much harder so it's incomparably more frustrating.
BRUH don't even get me started on hits not connecting in PVP because other players play 1 mile away from their router or smth.
The community is not as wholesome as in the other two ds games. I saw a lot of fake illusory wall messages which I didn't see at all in the other two but well... what can you do. This is not the games fault. It's just an interesting observation.
I know I whined a lot in this review but that's because I care. Overall this is still a great game. Especially compared to most of the "AAA" slop released today.
FromSoftware has gotten better since then and now is one of the few companies that's currently carrying the whole gaming industry on it's back ngl. どうか諦めないでください！

I finished all three of the Dark Souls games and I can't see why are some people hating on this one so much. It sure isn't as good as 1 but it at least tried to do something new and I love it for that. I enjoyed it quite a bit more than 3 that's for sure. It's original and the world is so much more interesting to explore.
The bosses are hit or miss though... super low lows but very high highs as well. Great game overall.
The controls on mouse and keyboard are super weird, jarring even but I got used to them after a few minutes.
I'm 100% sure people hate Dark Souls 2 because of the scholar of the first sin which literally tarnished the reputation of this game and is posing as the "definitive edition" so people are unwilling to give "vanilla" a fair try. That's all.

This masterpiece of a game still remains the best game in the series even after thirteen long years. The people who did the remastering did a really great job too.
