Me and the MO franchise has had a rough relationship.

I loved the idea with MO1. Tried it forst time and game crashed all the time. Did not understand a thing in tutorial. Tried it again 2015 and freaked out on lack of information in tutorial combined with bugs. Could not skin, nowhere was i told how to skin so via helpchat someone told me to press L. Could still not skin. Asked again and found out that i had to find a knife... Collected too many carcasses, could not trow them away, got heavy, could not move. Tried advise from chat, lost my sword. Ate a carcass (!) by mistake, was suddenly all stuffed. Ragequitted!

2021 I played bought MO2 and played it for 65 hours. Tutorial works better this time and i got much help from the community and the clan i was in but freaked out on griefers and on other stuff. Decided to wait until launch. Bought two copies of the game, one for an alt.

2022 game was released. I tried to enter the game but there was one week (!) queue to enter it. Tried a week later with 3 days waiting time. Ragequitted again.

Now i have played again for almost a week, inspired to return to MO after playing Pax Dei for some time. And i must say that i enjoy it. I know i will stay in this game.

So.. Some advise for you new.

Get a guild before you enter the real world. Get it when in Haven tutorial. Get advise on what to level up and stuff to read while there. Explore all of Haven.

And there are griefers, you will die a lot. Nothing is safe. And yes i have much to critizise the devs about. Game is unstable still, too unforgiving meaning not much information about crucial things. You NEED a friendly guild to be able to play this game. And lots of advise. But stilkl, the game is unique and I love it.
