wasn't expecting this but for a Chinese FTP, the quality of the game is surprisingly good. you get BF and DMZ in a single client with cool events and skins and a lot of QOL while running at decent fps.

looking forward to whats to come

after seven hours I've almost finished chapter 1/6, hands hurt, sweat is dripping over me.
this game is heaven and hell. happiness and pain. love and death. Yin and Yang.
it will take you through all possible emotions out there until your wisdom will be complete and you will either transcend this mortal plain or start crying in the shower.
I will not concede, I need more WILL!

step 1 - get the game on heavy discount
step 2 - enjoy a really solid campaign movie type experience
step 3 - fatality
step 4 - do the same thing for the expansion

Really like the game and what it offers so far. Feels like a slightly better looking single player Mashinky.
Massive TTD vibes which is really nice. Can't wait to see what comes next.

LE: after 20 hours I can say for sure that the UI still needs work as it's really confusing on what can be build where and who owns that particular building.
For example I had to ask for help online to understand why there are 2 Medium Storage buildings that can take steel but you need to make sure you build the one attached in the same family as the warehouse first in order to activate that as a resource in your city.. even though they have the same icon and name.

GR1 still feels a bit more fun but this was still worth the price :D Was expecting the base game to be a bit more harder.

YES, it has performance issues but I still super recommend this game. This is such a big upgrade from the first game with so much quality of life improvements across the board. We know the devs will constantly work and improve the game over time. The performance issues are not that bad though.

I think people are too easy to jump on the hate wagon right now while not appreciating what the game is.
Just enjoy the game and stahp complaining that you don't have 144 fps in this game (yet).. you don't need that much.

Want to thank the devs for their continuous work over the last 10 years for CS1 and CS2 and I can't wait to see how this game will look in the future with all the incoming mods and DLCs. Just hope they will add an Asian Theme as I'm tired to play with EU or US assets :D

May 2024 edit: after many many months the game is still where it started pretty much.. i can't understand how they missed the mark with this by so much.. dev time is extremely slow and as much as I love the game I cannot recommend it atm. We don't even have proper modding yet which is crazy to think about... Until I see actual updates this will remain as a negative review..

u barely start the exapansion and the first thing you get is a an amazing homage to Ghost in a Shell <3
