Ever since it was released on consoles and watched couple of game play videos I thought to myself 'This game is made for PC' and was hoping Rockstar would release it like for PC but since RDR 1 didn't come out on PC I was not that hopeful but as soon I heard its gonna come to PC I upgraded my PC as I wanted to experience the game at it best. The last time I did that for a game was The Witcher 3 which was worth upgrading my PC for. And I'd say RDR2 is my 2nd best game of last decade after The Witcher 3. So let me share my pros and cons of the game. I still haven't finished the game btw.

Pros
GRAPHICS!!!!!! - Never seen a game look this good! The game is technical marvel. If you it look amazing on console then Rockstar has pushed it to a different level with the PC edition.

Story - Like the previous RDR game, the story is fantastic with amazing narrative, complex characters and amazing world design. Though not as personal as RDR1 its still great

Protagonist- Arthur Morgan is one of the most flushed out game characters of all time. He's flawed, complex, struggles with his own morality, combined with a an amazing voice acting makes him simply one of the best game protagonist in the last decade or ever.

Characters - It is not a Rockstar game if it doesn't have memorable characters and RDR2 is no exception! From small characters to the major ones, the game is filled with memorable characters and some are as complex as Arthur himself.

World design - Well.. again its Rockstar. So its not a surprise. The world design is simply amazing! The world is fully flushed out, looks lived in, interactive with insane amount of stuff to do.

Cons (con):

Mission design - Though Rockstar has pushed the boundaries in lot of other aspects of the game. They still haven't moved on from their same old mission designs and a for a game as expansive as this one, to have mission structures so rigid and lack of freedom feels outdated. Its not bad but its not new or fresh either.

Verdict:

Overall this game is simply a masterpiece! One of the best games ever created. One that will take sometime for other games to beat.
