And everyone has their own opinions and everyone else should respect that but sadly this world is not perfect and it's filled with people who aren't so. I saw your comment Frequency, instead of trying to seem like you are smarter and being a prideful <what> how about you keep these offensive thoughts to yourself. You might get somewhere.

"bosses are quick and easy to defeat" yep
"gameplay is grindy and shockingly linear" the grind is real
"no real reason to build on more than a single designated home planet" oil and healing water only spawn on arid planets. Titanium requires you to leave your starting solar system.
"no real threat means no need for a defensive structure" i agree the ship is good enough however there are threats.
"most tech is borderline useless" oxygen suit tech, pulse jump tech and dash tech i could go on for hours.
"no story" ... does it matter? story dosn't make a game.
"pet and farming system feels pointless" yup.
some i agree some i don't.
