I own this game on my Switch and on Steam. I have played it to the point that I know each map and level like the back of my hand. I have immense respect for the developers for staying faithful to the universe in terms of story and aesthetics. Although at this point the game is now almost 9 years old, it is still visually stunning, and an absolute treat to launch myself into. At no point am I bored during this game. At no point do I wish I could skip a section. And despite knowing the game inside and out, at no point am I not terrified while the Xeno is active. The AI is incredibly smart, and really does make you feel like you need to constantly crouch your way around for fear of accidentally giving away where you currently are. The story flows beautifully, with moments of respite to catch your breath, but you will at other times be forced into small sections where it's just you, and one angry Xeno out for blood. There are so many things that I can say about this game that I haven't already, like getting back the cast of the original movie for some new never-before heard dialogue. The attention to detail, the care and craftsmanship put into this game, but I could never do the game enough justice. Simply put, whether or not you're a fan of the Alien universe, or just a survival horror fan, this game is 100% worth your time and money. I genuinely believe it is one of the best games of the 2010's
