Arena can be very fun and addictive. There are 2 steep curves when you enter this game as a newbie:
Magic is a tough game to understand
It's hard to start this game if you are free to play.

It will require some time and effort to build up enough resources to start being competitive in any particular game mode, much less multiple. Arena does a good job of introducing you to the game though.

But when you get the ball rolling, boy is this game fun. There are tons of cosmetics, and new sets come out every couple of months which keeps the game fresh and exciting. Game has been going for several years and is still going strong.

Stop thinking about it and come to the big boy's TCG already.
