Early Access Review
I always wanted DDR to come back to games, at the same time being able to play to whatever music I choose. This is the perfect replacement to fit my DDR need's.

I miss you DDR. But thank you dev for bringing this one home.

Basically it's like this, you can select your difficulty from relaxing, to medium, to hard. I never tried hard difficulty and medium is like the normal random left, up, up, down, left kind of things depending on the beat of the music you are playing. Relaxed is just basic left left left up left up up sort of thing. Real simple, basically defines the word "relaxed" in the game play given.

Whatever music you own on your computer, be it steam music albums you purchased from games you enjoyed listening to. To music albums of artists you placed on your computer and own this game will take it and turn it into a real functional level that you can play to it's beat. Literally. I felt like my game play experience playing this really would be on the "mark" most of the time playing the tune's arrow key time punch to the right beat given. But don't mistake that remark for it being super chaotic if you have a fast beat playing track, that's what the lower difficultys like Medium is for. As I said I never played Hard so I imagine if I did it'd truly be chaotic. Another thing to keep in mind which I thought was a nice touch was how as you played the key notes for left, up, down, right would be colored the same exact color. So in a way over time you can train your brain, muscle memory, whatever to hit the correct key based on the color given, which is a nice touch (No worries though, they still provide a arroiw in the correct direction like the old DDR days.). Another thing to mention which is wonderful is actually playing whatever song you choose to play it in it's full glory. No 1/3rd of a song, no 1/2 of the song. Just play the game's chosen song track in it's full greatness.

My only wish is that I can't play this game to a radio station, but hey that'd be pretty difficult and not to mention that'd cause problems. Plus they explain why and etc going forward selecting your music to be played.

So hey, if you have a album, a song, a game, whatever that you always wanted to play a DDR like level then this game is for you. And I urge you to play it and spread the word to any friends you know that miss the DDR days. Plus we need modders for this game. You can create hair styles, accessories, and a few other things to wear for your character on this game. It's just a shame that the workshop selection is so small.

Thank you and enjoy.
