I love this game for many reasons: the story, the game play, the music, the style, the RED and will always be my favorite game of all time.

However Royal has a major flaw that destroys the balance and challenge of the game.


The game comes with all DLC included and non removable.

This may sound like a good thing but much of the DLC are notable Personas from other games, these Personas are so unbelievably overpowered that the game becomes absolutely boring.
For example at level 1 you can summon and use Izanagi-no-Okami Picaro a level 89 persona with residences to all magic and physical dmg for ZERO cost.

You can self nerf and say “i'm not going to use the free Personas” but unfortunately they also take the places of other Personas in fusion, normally Angel + Makoi results in High Pixie without the DLC installed, With the DLC installed, it results in a DLC Persona.
It also feels terrible to see all these cool iconic personas that you have to stop yourself from using.

I can only hope Atlus will make DLC Personas NG+ only or at the very least make them more balanced to their level, until then I cant recommend.
