It's sorta Star Trek, it has a lot of callbacks to series of the IP good and dorky.

The graphics are improved, the community is variable.

How "beautiful" the game is depends to a large degree on your hardware, one nice thing about the game is it will run on a potato but if you are running it on one it will not be the prettiest game in existence. I am not a huge fan of the latter trek IPs and thus far recently *all* developmental effort has been aimed at Picard and Discovery.

Here is holding out hope "Strange New Worlds" gets some love soon.
