A game I wish I could recommend but I can not.

There are only 2-3 lobbies on US East or West at any time as of right now. The biggest issue and the main reason I do not recommend this game is the fact that your character feels clunky and even animations for melee (still broken) and throwing grenades feels downright awful for an FPS game.

Melee animations are so broken that you can shoot someone in the head multiple times and the animation will still continue and they will die AFTER they kill you even though you shoot them before they closed the distance. This problem has existed since day 1 and has not been addressed.

This game in it's current state has showed slow progress and just seems like the developers are simply trying to make a quick buck off the Ghost in the Shell name. The only time it would be worth getting is if significant improvement is made and even then the game does not have enough users playing to even warrant buying it. Nexon being the publisher I'd give this game a solid 2 years after actual release (if the game even gets there) and just like other Nexon branded games (Combat Arms) it'll slowly go down the drain.

Logged in to see if much has changed and the same issues still exist, Nexon simply trying to make a quick buck off the Ghost in the Shell name via microtransactions.

This game used to be amazing until it was sold to a different developer, I played professionally and participated in quite a few tournaments. After entering college I had to stop playing, I picked the game up after seeing it on Steam. It's with great displeasure I have to say this game is a farcry of what it once was, and I do not recommend getting it.

AvA's Golden Age has long passed and the game has been completely torn apart of what used to be one of the best F2P shooters.

Like many people I have my doubts about games in early access especially space games considering controversial games like Star Citizen are on the brink of being "the next big thing." This game has a lot of potential and is the first game I have put my faith in the devs for early access, I signified this by my purchase of Vanguard during the free weekend play on 4/18/15. One of the final factors in my decision to support this came from the fact the devs gave the game for free to anyone who played it on this weekend, on top of that they encountered server overloads due to the new players and within a day it was fixed and running again, they also keep monthly patch notes listed as soon as you log onto the game so you can see where the progress is taking place and what they are doing to improve the game.

This game in short is a space MOBA (think League and Dota but without the hostile community). Upon looking at the reviews I happened to come across one negative review that summarized ships aren't really different and it's just point and shoot. Please do note that, yes, some ships are more point and shoot as that is their role, but in order to survive when you aren't a heavy class you must move around and utilize your ablities effectively, I'd also like to go on the record and say this game is in EARLY ACCESS, there are still balancing issues they are attending to and tweaking. I do not understand how someone puts only 2-3 hours in the game and says ships are all the same and it's point and shoot. As someone who has put a fair amount of hours in compared to other reviewers I can say for a fact that there are times I've won 1v3 engagements in an Assassin/Phantom class due to using my ship's abilities well and opponents simply sitting there like ducks.

TL;DR This game is tons of fun in early access and possesses a lot of potential, if you like space fights and MOBA style games, look no further as this is the forerunner. Please do not be discouraged by some reviews where people only put in a handful of time and complain about typical alpha/early access problems, good devs deserve to be supported!

This game offers everything you want in a sandbox, MIddle Ages style game. Anything that may not be in the native version, a simple visit to the workshop will help solve that problem. Overall a great game with minor issues. I suggest downloading the Diplomacy mod and playing with it from the start.

10/10 would gladly destroy my social life for.

Gameplay feels like Assassin's Creed with a touch of Arkham Knight in combat playstyle. The only negative thing I found with this game which didn't spoil it at all was the fact that the final few bosses seemed insanely easy. I like the Nemesis system as early on it presents a challenge, but later on your character just pretty much beats the ♥♥♥♥ out of everything. Storyline is amazing and the cinematic scenes alone make this game worth every penny.

Just to restate the only negative thing I could possibly say about this game is the bosses don't present much of a challenge during late game, but at that point the story picks up in pace.
