They did it, those absolute maniacs actually did it! They took the most intricate, beautifully complex game of all time and made it playable.

There are still lots of quality of life updates that can/should be made but this is an astounding accomplishment and I've been having nonstop "fun" since it dropped!

Includes much of the intrigue of the fully expanded Crusader Kings 2 with enormously updated graphics and, once you get used to it, a much more convenient UI.

If you like flying and exploring this is for you. It is rather unfocused but that may be a feature to you, not a bug.

Pretty much a perfect survival/crafting game with more educational potential than anything since Kerbal Space Program.

Beyond the engaging mechanics, polished gameplay and brutal difficulty (or not, you have options) the art is consistently charming and you'll find new things that amuse you after hundreds of hours.

An amazing blend of Don't Starve and Minecraft/Terraria with a lot on top that is totally it's own thing.

Recommend.

Amazing. Best 4X space game I've ever seen. So vast I can't understand how they are doing it.*
