Fail. This is basically the first game but as someone's terrible fan fic. You now have a voiced protagonist who is an obnoxious, not at all self aware, self insert from the writer. A game should not aspire to be a fan fic. We the players are the protagonist. When you take that away from us to force us to play as the writer's idealized self all we can see is what a @#$%* you are. And now every time you start getting into the game you'll get pulled out of immersion by this @#$%* who goes on and on about how much you the player care about their personal social struggle. Oh, everything else is better than the first game, but the fan fic nature of the game makes it not recommendable.
