Good concept, playing the days is fun and fairly challenging. but... the gameplay beside sorting and handing out items, feels unfinished to say the least. could probably be fixed and then it will be a amusing fun little game. But this is an Early Access, not a V1 release.

Edit: Okay the previously mentioned bugs are fixed. But the broken gameplay is only solved by what seems a new bug: Send in 2 for 200g workers to the barrack, and up with only 1 recruit resulting in 130g...

Gameplay: Bad and unbalanced resulting in this broken gameplayloop:
As soon as you unlock the barracks and the tradehouse, you can simply buy some citizens, train them to recruits and then sell them again. rinse and repeat Untill you have >50 of them, kill kraken to get bones. sell bones to get prestige currency. repeat untill you are bored and unlock all prestige without ever bothering with any of the other buildings and bosses.

Also, the prestige bonuses are meh and don't accelerate your next playtrough much (except when you get duplicate privates, highly improving the above mentioned strategy). 2x wood may seem cool but considering you can only put a limited amount of workers on making planks out of them, it really does not help at all.

I mean, the good thing that had me going for a few hours

lot of depth. an incremental where it's not about just plussing all numbers, but actually making choises how to progress next. will it be research? will i focus on synthing upgrades first? you can't do it all at once but it is easy to switch and therefor forgiving enough to experiment. good offline bonusses.

Fun idle game with plenty of dept and strategy with a realistic endgoal. But even after reaching the endgoal, it is still playable.

Not the same vibe as forager. Sure you collect and craft but the UI is clunky, the world is not pretty.

And yet I have changed my recommendation from No to yes, due to the progression this game is making. Seems the respawntimer of trees is reduced as it wasn't a drag anymore to get enough wood and the autoclick function, also shown in the letsgameitout video, was quite an improvement (although it needs some tweaking to be able to do things like milking cows).

Wonder where this game will go to but it is quite fun for a few hours to run around and develop your skills and tools.

not sure if it is supposed to be an idle game as it is basicly 20 minutes automated actions and 10 minutes making choises but i like it
