A good game, not complicated, fun community, epic battles, nowhere to be forced, but the choice to work together or to choose your own tactics!

Is definitely worth the money I've been playing it for a while now and I experience it very well, and here and there some joking musicians who keep the game interesting and fun.


Holdfast: Nations At War
It is probably only getting better, since it is in early access!

The classes have different applications for its own tactics,
although this is not clearly evident in every profession.

An example here is:

The Rifleman, now it is the most popular class and only 10 people can play it per side, but long story short the community thinks that it's a kind of sniper.

My self experience with this class is not very different than that from the ordinary soldier.
The musket of the Rifleman may be able to shoot a bit further, but it is absolutely no sniper and does not work that way either. It is really not special, except for looking good when you march!

Another example is:

The musicians (drummer, bagpiper, flute player) often be labeled as a joke, but should not be underestimated (is done every time) because they are very valuable classes.
Does not matter when they play music but if they do it gives you & your team a buff an accuracy buff to be exact!

This can be very powerful when used properly, a musician can be deadly to, because he may be playing an instrument, but is he is also armed with a sword and a flintlock pistol.

Well this is the real joke for ye, to be killed by a musician because you underestimate him!

Other class information (based on personal experience)

The Grenadier still has no specialties of his profession, such as grenades and or explosively related knowledge. :(

The Surgeon not really interesting his buf is healing, its active when he is standing near you & your team.
(still muskets kill you immediately) But do not worry its uselessness, he has the most coolest flintlock blaster!

The Guard I really do not know what his role or tactic advantage is, (probably guard) really there is nothing to guard!
I not want to guard anything, I will not recommend it either very boring the game is too fun for that!
But do not worry its uselessness you can still fight with it.

For the rest of the classe's, the roles and tasks are clear.
