Stellaris has evolved many times. Not all of those evolutions have made everyone happy. But, for me the game has grown through the expertise of Paradox to become the best 4x game. The game is full of things happening. Yes there are lulls in gameplay as you go along but then something huge happens and all the craziness continues. My favorite part of the game is the beginnings when you first explore but someday I will get to megastructures. The dev support is overwhelming and the mods that exist can create many different amazing game styles. I just started multiplayer with a friend and it added another layer of fun. Is it perfect... No. Is it going to be... Probably not but Paradox won't be stopping the love anytime soon.
