An excellent dungeon crawler! Not much else to say really - just fun to play and full of interesting challenges.

I bought this collection because I already had and loved Evoland 2. Evoland 1 is, well, it's a fun little satire, but probably not worth the money I spent on it (again, because I already had the lion's share of this collection)

I enjoyed the first couple of hours that I played of this game, but the repetitive grind of endlessly killing the last few remainders of humanity wore me down quickly. The story is as devoid of hope as the main character, and, I think, the developer.

This game created a completely unique experience when it came out, and this kind of Real Time RPG is still quite rare. Also, I love desperately trying to kill endless enemies with whatever comes to hand.

Loved this game, but I did find myself grinding for materials and getting lost after a couple of boss fights, as it isn't always clear where to go next. If you don't mind having to occasionally consult a walkthrough, it's well worthwhile.

Of all the Final Fantasy worlds, I feel this one holds together best. There's a reason for your team to be the only hope for humanity, and a reason for them all to stick together. Towns don't just have weapon stores off the main plaza, and everything you pick up has a use, or several. Not as playable as 9, but way more solid than 7.

Clever and subversive in half a dozen ways that belie its cartoonish art style. Gameplay is- well, it isn't terribly deep or innovative, but I've played this to completion several times now and I'm always ready to jump back in.

You can see the seed of some of the ideas that made later games great, but if you're looking for something fun to play, look somewhere else. This one's only for diehard fans that are interested in the series history.

It's fun and strange and has that "easy to learn hard to master" quality. Just watch out for motion sickness.

Fast paced, innovative, challenging and beautifully designed. The learning curve is a little steep, but this is a damn fine game.
