Hands down the BEST non-FromSoftware Soulsborne game, it's not even close. The combat is so good, the weapons are incredibly fun to mix and match to create the perfect fit for your own playstyle. Great boss fights and an amazing soundtrack too. Absolutely a must play for fans of the Souls series, especially if you love Bloodborne.

Do you like cruising through space? Do you like visiting uncharted systems and staking claims on planets nobody has ever set foot on? Or maybe you want to encounter crazy aliens or dogfight with mind-bending bio-mechanical alien ships? Yeah, me too, and that's why Starfield sucks balls because it has NONE of that.

Freelancer, a game that came out in the year 2003. Literally 20 years ago, was a better space game than Starfield could ever hope to be.

The guns are utter trash, the "RPG" systems are borderline non-existant, and 80% of your time in this game will be looking at loading screens while fast travelling.

You have to select a perk to use your jet pack. A PERK TO USE YOUR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ JETPACK! That should tell you everything you need to know.

Don't let the very basic graphics fool you, this game is a great horror experience. The sound design is absolutely stunning and creates legitimately creepy atmosphere.

Incredible game and an absolutely top-notch survival horror experience. To explain any more than that would be doing you a disservice. Experience this game.

Early Access Review
Seems really simple at first, but it's actually got some deceptive complexity to it when you factor in all the different combinations of weapons/passives possible. It's also really addictive.

Definitely worth picking up considering the current price.

I honestly think Below Zero is inferior to the original in every way, let me make a short list of reasons:

- The Seatruck is worse than the Seamoth in every way. It's slower and the clunky modules are mostly useless.
- 90% of the time there's a blizzard and you can't see a thing above water.
- The leviathans. Oh, man, this could be a whole section on it's own (and will be). They are terrible compared to the originals. Not even remotely as scary as the Reaper alone.
- The biomes all look SO samey, nothing is really that distinct. I get it, it's the arctic, but it's an alien planet with giant see monsters, does it really need to follow real world logic in that regard?
- Story progression is incredibly irritating at times, requiring you to go back and forth between two areas multiple times for little to no reason.

--The Leviathans--

Okay, so, the leviathans as a whole are just... awful. Do you remember hearing the Reaper for the first time? That thing made people ♥♥♥♥. Seeing it was even worse. It looks horrifying. What's BZ's comparable Leviathan? A giant Prawn that isn't even the slightest bit intimidating. It's a joke of a creature.

The shadow leviathan isn't even scary either, it lacks any real distinguishing features. It looks like a giant leech. That's, again, not even approaching intimidating.

The Ice worms are just a joke. You find them in literally one area in the entire game. One area that you are in and out of in ten minutes. Hell, if you're in the prawn suit they can't even damage you at all. They're not a threat whatsoever.

Got curious and went out into the void to see what spooky leviathan was lurking in the dark depths? Jokes on you, it's just a larger, white prawn. Now, I think the Ghost leviathans are the weakest in terms of intimidation in the original game, but at least they aren't a palette swapped Reaper. Super lazy, in my opinion.

There's nothing even remotely as memorable as the Dragon leviathan or avoiding the first Reaper near the crash site. Most of the leviathans are patrolling in areas you wont even need to go close to until the very end of the game, and by that point you're going to be in a fully upgraded prawn and they're no threat at all.

--Conclusion--

The game as a whole is just really dull when compared to the first.

So, why am I recommending it then since I've not said a single good thing about it this entire time? Well, it's not a bad game. Everything functions as it should and if you liked the first game then you'll probably enjoy this entry as well. Just don't go into it expecting it to have those terrifying moments the first game had.

Very good entry in the series. Take 7, add elements of 4 and you get 8.
