Best roguelike I've played in a while. Very simple in design but very deep in execution. Almost plays like a rhythm game, yet you can take as much time as needed when the challenge increases. Easy to pick up and put down.
Highly recommended

Let's focus on what's most important here - the gameplay.

I feel for those who are having issues with stability and performance, but that will improve with time.

The new map is the best that the team has put out to date. All of the compounds are completely unique, basically nothing is recycled from previous maps and the compounds and areas between them play in completely unique ways.

In a game with replayability being one of its most vital components more guns and playstyles are viable than ever. This is the best pact system they have incorporated so far - I've always found the totems to be unnecessary. The way that the hellborn banishes instantly is a great QoL improvement and fixes my biggest issue with the wildcard contracts.

Hunt is changing, and that's a good thing. Without major changes, hunt's playerbase would eventually not be enough to sustain it.

In order to extract with a bounty token you must adapt to whatever hunt throws at you. It's time to adapt to the new hunt.

For anyone like me who used to be a huge fan of the golden sun games, this right here is a must play. Good boss fights, good story, good level design, good dose of nostalgia. This has it all.

Ogre battle 64 is one of my favorite n64 games. This game obviously took a lot of inspiration from it, but in a good way. If you liked that game or enjoy the fire emblem games you owe it to yourself to give this one a try.

Unless you absolutely hate card games, I would recommend this game to anyone and everyone.

Despite the main gameplay consisting of card battles this game is so much more. One of the most creative games I've played in quite some time and at $20 it's an absolute steal.

Do yourself a favor and give this one a try. Also do yourself another favor and don't look up too much gameplay beforehand. It has multiple arcs which switch things up dramatically, and you'll want to experience the surprises yourself.
