I don't even know how to describe this other than one of the best and most unique rhythm games I've ever played. Going to play this through again so many times. It's very short, but well worth the price, as it's a rhythm game you're going to want to play through over and over again.

Pros:
-Very fun action mechanics
-Funny humor
Cons:
-A bit short

Cons:
-All of the mechanics are a little rough. Shooting, melee, driving, especially stealth. Still serviceable at least.
-Some immersion breaking animation glitches, especially with bodies.

Pros:
-Great writing. Crime drama, political drama, interplanetary drama. Tells a story that's bigger than your average murder mystery.
-Great detective game. You have to look closely at clues and pay attention to come to the correct conclusions. While I did get most every answer correct, it's easy to see where the game wants you to think a little bit before coming to conclusions.

Cons
-Short. 5 Hours for one playthrough. I have to play again to be sure, but it does seem that other playthroughs can go differently depending on your decisions. I know I had something happen differently in the overall plot in the full game than from what I let happen in the demo for example.
-No achievements at time of review (hopefully implemented later?)

Most of the rough launch issues seem to have been ironed out. So far I've only been victim to one crash during 32 hours, and the game has run fantastically.
Pros:
-The same amazing experience from the PS4, but being able to aim with a mouse!
-A lesson for modern open world games in not padding the world with heaps of filler content
-Challenging combat that combines strategy with skill for a rewarding experience
Cons:
-Who knows if we'll get the sequel on steam or how long it will take

After end game/dlc edit and disclaimer: Don't try to 100% the content (specificaly don't play the juke box) if you want to continue to enjoy the game. It becomes completely unbalanced, unfair, and infuriating at that point. I have never slammed my 100$ mouse on my desk before this bull.

Pros:
-Many Alan Wake references
-Metroid-vania style exploration
-Awesome combat with a variety of weapon customization and powers
-A love letter to S.C.P./X-Files/Twilight Zone etc.
Cons:
-Takes a beast of a rig to run at highest settings (only a con to some. To others, this is just building a game to be future proof. The graphics will hold up years from now as hardware gets better)
-Slightly goofy facial animations and some awkard camera transitions during long scenes of dialogue

-Masterpiece.
-Play 7 first!
-Don't sell your meats on the first playthrough, you're welcome.

Well, I'm sad now. Very good little puzzle game with a story about coping with loss. Not sure why the guy was an owl, but fair enough.

Car mechanic simulator, but with mechs, and not quite as in-depth.
Pros:
-It's fun to learn the ins and outs of each mech design, with very well thought-out inner workings to every frame
-Quick assembly and disassembly compared to other similar games where upgrades must be aquired to alleviate tedious tasks

Cons:
-You can't really drive the mechs. Not like you can with cars in CMS anyways.
-Repair mini games get a little monotonous, with no available way to buy upgrades that might speed up the processes
-The painting system as-is would only theoretically be fun for painting the mechs you keep. It could really use an auto paint feature for jobs, as once those paint jobs are done, you will never see them again, so there is very little point in putting real effort into making the paint jobs look cool. Just include a small spray of each color asked for by the client, and you're good.

-Finally, I wouldn't detract from the score I'd give the game over this, as I know this is labor of love from a small studio (one guy?), but I'd be so down for more mechs in the future. There aren't very many right now, but looking at the unbelievable detail that went into their designs, it's understandable as to why there aren't way more.

For a final score i'd give this a 3/5. It's a very enjoyable, relaxing, time sink for a little while, but it's definitely just missing some things in terms of long term appeal.

Straight up: The fact that this game doesn't have Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on steam is just crazy to me. It's pretty much a perfect rpg. So well written, very replayable, great mystery to solve. What else do you want?
Edit: I now understand why it doesn't have overwhelmingly positive reviews. Guy who owns the company now bought it with the company's own money. He's a scam artist that was arrested and forced to pay millions for running a pyramid scheme frequently. Don't buy the game anymore, you're supporting absolute scumbags if you do.
