Kinda late on this one and I can't believe I slept on it this long. If you're a Star Wars fan, you're doing yourself a disservice by not playing it. If you're not a Star Wars fan, but are a fan of challenging games similar to Sekiro, then it's still probably worth playing just for how fun the gameplay is.

Unpopular opinion: Doom 2016 is better. Still doesn't mean this isn't pretty fun.

Also ID should send an apology gift-basket to Mick Gordon and see if he would be willing to mix the songs and have them patched into the game.

Disclaimer: This is not Dark Souls. This requires gitting gud, scrub, even if you've played Dark Souls already. Do not expect to walk into this game and have an easy time as a Fromsoft fan. Blocking is integrated into your animations, which you should be keeping in mind from the second it explains it in the opening moments. This changes up the strategy of fighting enemies drastically, as rather than looking for openings, or learning to dodge every single hit, you will have to create your own openings and moments of extra invulnerability to survive attacks.
People who have decided not to recommend the game because they felt like the early enemies were infuriating have given up too quickly. Fight Grisha until you get used to the combat and kill him, or decide getting good at this game isn't what you want to be doing before your two hours are up.

That aside, the game looks amazing for an indie game, has Fromsoft inspired vibes all over it, and looks to be a pretty fulfilling experience overall. I also had one crash in my playtime so far, so I would say be more wary of reviews mentioning crashes, rather than complaining about difficulty.

One last thing I can tell you from when I played the demo last year: If you hate playing with controllers, rather than mouse and keyboard, you should pass on this game. You will very likely not get far trying to play m+kb.

This is it. This is what I've been looking for since all the arcades around my house closed and I couldn't play DDR anymore for a fun way to get some cardio in. If you're out of shape, commit to 100% completing this game. I guarantee there's no way you'll be as out of shape by the time you finish.

Fantastic. Doesn't feel like early access, could be a full release and I'd be alright with it. It's half-way between Factorio and Satisfactory, which are both amazing games, so obviously it's pretty dang fun.

Very good story. Could benefit from a run button. (Or at least a jog button)

Definitely Frogware's best Sherlock game so far. Can't wait for the next one. Just wish it was a bit longer.

If Zootopia was rated R and a Noire sci-fi film.

Just be warned, it's very short. People are saying 5 hours, my end time clocked at 4. I didn't get all the achievements, but the 14 I didn't get are hidden, so there's not a lot enticing me to re-play this right away.

Disclaimer: Download the 4gb patch so that the game doesn't start crashing on you a couple hours in!

Very good game for what it is. The art style is awesome. The story is satisfyingly dark, even if you make the "good" decisions. Puzzles are challenging, but not so much that you'll likely be stuck forever. It's not super scary either. Only one real jump-scare, and the rest is just a somewhat creepy vibe. Overall, if you're okay with a 5 hour experience for the price, and are looking for a unique horror experience, pick this up!
