Steam deck runs this game flawlessly despite it being unverified and no entries on protonDB.

I don’t get the poor reviews. This game is badass.

You kick down doors and blast bad guys with a wide range of guns. That’s it, that’s the game.

The gunplay is really well done. You pick two weapons for each episode, called a “case”, and as you progress you unlock new weapons and upgrades like laser sights, flashlights, ect

The game mechanics are smooth, weapons feel just right, graphics are nice.

There are only so many enemies and levels are procedurally generated, so after a short time the game does feel a bit repetitive, but I find the gameplay to be fun enough that it’s not a problem.

Only issues I ran into is the recoil animation for some guns are absurd to where it obscures your view entirely. Also if you die midway through a case a few levels in guess what? You’re going all the way back to the beginning! No checkpoints here, which I discovered the hard way one hour into a level.

All that being said this is a $5 game at most and I wouldn’t pay over that, but if you enjoy FPS then you’ll want to play this one. Solid mindless FPS you can easily kill an hour or two playing.
