ORPG with incredibly cool roots/inspirations and a little bit of self-indulgence on the side, what could be better? This belongs to weirdo furries and you can't take it away from us, muhahahaha! >:3 Better than like 99% of "action" MMOs out there. Just a one-time fee for some grindy fun, who could say no to that?

Amazing hangout game. What the dev brings to the table here, every so-called "Cozy Game" developper should take to heart. A game is only as wholesome and cozy as the amount of genuine love and care you put into crafting it. It comes from the heart, it's passionate. This wasn't made with any capitalist ill intent in mind and you can just Tell. You could bring a game like this to life too, someday! Take notes!!!

Decent shooter marred by bad map design dictated entirely by arbitrary markers à la skyrim and writing made exclusively to cater to what 12 year olds were into in 2007.

This is THE quintessential character building RPG. Get yourself this game if you don't already own it. Play it! Play the whole damn thing! Then play it again in a completely different way. If you don't want it to crash, get yourself a few essentials if you're on windows 10 by looking up Viva New Vegas.

WOMEN!!!!!!!!!!!

for real if you're trans or a lesbian of any kind (and a furry) this is literally a love letter to you personally.
please do yourself a favor and play it. if you're none of those things, there's definitely a lot here for you as well.

the combat is pretty deep, with spellbooks that can change any party member's moveset drastically, and special points that you only get by fulfilling a party member's niche, (I.E. casting spells, healing, attacking and taking damage) and the encounters are quite challenging as well, the enemies can really give you a hard time if you don't know how to deal with them or which one to prioritize, and it can be less obvious than it seems. Allison has a positional attack system for crying out loud. You gotta figure out if hitting an enemy in a specific direction will damage them the hardest. AND! and! there's an elemental resistances and weakness system!

The game is FULL of dialogue and you'll get to know and love these characters really well. If you're not a fan of characters talking a whole bunch, what are you even doing playing a JRPG anyway? The game is rife with humor too, the jokes rule. The kind that's like "oh my god this is so stupid." but in the best possible way. The silly bits are evenly spaced out between character development and story beats, so you won't ever be overwhelmed by it either.

Need I mention this game's art style and music have been MASTERED over the course of many, many years, perfected to a T? Yeah. This game is ear AND eye candy. You're gonna feast on it and have a sugar rush. A super lesbian animal sugar rush.

I haven't beat the game yet, but I can say with certainty that this is worth your time and money. I hear it's not TOO long, so it won't be an enormous investment either. Think of it as a delicious treat!

Ponett. Devs. I love you. Seriously. I don't know if this is a one time thing or if you plan to turn this into a series-- or even if you make a completely different game. But this is a serious achievement. Consider patting yourselves on the back- you did awesomely. ♥ I hope this is as much a financial success as it is in my eyes, critically speaking.

UPDATE: I've completed the game and my review still rightfully stands! I heartily recommend it, it was a ride from start to finish and just kept getting better and better with each act. A tour de force like this only happens every now and again, and Bobby and her team's knocked it out of the park.

My only major complaint is that there's no furries. C'mon. I need a Kangaroo Wife.

a short n sweet little experience that mixes town management/settlement sim with a solid roguelite. The artstyle bleeds charm like nothing else (or should i say bleat?). Excellent at instilling a sense of ludonarrative. The loop is addicting, and there ain't any unnecessary padding.

A few things to keep in mind: This game is actively still being developed, so while it is slightly lacking in content, and has a few minor bugs, the team behind Massive Monster are very proactively stamping out issues, and the base experience is very much worth it by itself.
