A very Japanese inspired Monster Hunter game, the style sticks much closer to the older roots of the series. As a veteran of the series, I appreciated a lot of the silliness and wacky designs unlike World that really improved the charm of the game. Wire-bugs are a great gimmick, and the movement and difficulty have been incredibly satisfying. The new monsters are also very fun to fight, and the returning ones are still just as good as usual. Try it if you like the older games, or if you want a more "arcadey" game if you started with World.
