I wanted to redo my review since it was last posted in 2017. Back then I said I had 1100 hours or so, but those were steam hours which records idle time. In reality, I had around 200-400 hours. After playing this game since I think around 2015/2016 and having 1300 ish hours of playing time, I can tell you how I FEEL about this game.

So, I have been playing on and off after the first series of nightwave and currently sitting at MR 24 (almost 25). Quick pro/con.

Pro
- Game is truly free to play and enjoy
- Aesthetics and graphics are top-notch for free to play game
- Frames and arsenal are unique enough to encourage variety of choices (yea yea CC is underwhelming but people still love frost even if he is afk spamming globes)
- Progression and new player experience (this has been massively improved upon)

Con
- Time gating weapons, frames, gear, etc (Warframes take roughly 3.5 days to acquire, weapons can be 12-25 hours)
- MR level test is gated to once a day which means there are restrictions to how minimum days you have to play before you can get access to certain weapon
- Prime weapons have become heavily devalued and are sometimes weaker than new released weapons (new primes are often better than old primes), same for frames
- Resource collection, early on there are some items you might want to build but do not have the planet or node unlocKed to farm them, resoUrce gathering can be Vile, to eAch their own

This game is pretty fun to pick up and just play. As a new player, there is a lot to do so don't worry about veteran players.

Sorry, vets guess you will have to wait. BuT vEnuS oPeN wOrLD.

NOTE
Around the end of first nightwave, I picked up Destiny 2 + Forsaken and I have to say Bungie is pulling my attention completely towards them. Might even purchase Shadowkeep. In the same universe, Warframe has been ending with net loss of concurrent players on each release they make. They are looter-shooters at the end of the day.
