yay beatsaber is finally in a state where the devs dont feel the need to do pointless updates every few days and break the mods, and even if they do, you are now able to still play all your custom songs.

the songs that it comes with are mostly cheesy short generic easily forgettable edm music created by the ceo of the company that makes beatsaber......needless to say if you enjoy playing, you'll soon find youself modding the game so you can download custom songs so you dont have to listen to that cancer anymore (dont even think about buying their paid dlc packs, what a waste of money when they want to charge what they do for the base game!)

the campaign is also cancer, starts out innocently enough, easy progresses to normal, then normal with some modifiers or conditions, then hard, then some of the conditions become just silly. it made sense when it was get a 50 block combo or better, but then they have you do one where you have to get at least 26 combo by the end of the song, and no higher than 32......the game literally tells you "you may have to make mistakes on purpose to achieve this".....yet another one has you achieve a specific "hand distance travelled" which literally has you spinning your arms around in circles between notes to desperately try to get a long enough distance. its not fun, and its not conducive in any way shape or form to learning to play beatsaber, i cant even begin to imagine what they were thinking when they came up with this! the only reason to play the campaign is to get the achievements

with all that being said, you still should absolutely buy it, its alot of fun, but then immediately mod it, dont buy any of the silly dlc or focus on the campaign though, plenty of free content you will actually enjoy! (lol its just like a bethesda game)
