This game treats its players and community members right. Its the only free-to-play live service game I've ever seen where almost everything, including most cosmetics, is available to earn in game for free. The battle pass is entirely free, players can trade premium currency, the game receives constant updates that provide a rich story and new content regularly for free. There are no DLC, no paywalls, nothing that requires you at any point to spend money to enjoy the game more. This is a game made by a team of passionate people who love their players and it shows. Possibly the best free to play game that will ever exist. Do not miss out.

Incredibly good RPG. Fun and unique combat system. Compelling characters and story. Seriously, this is the one.

great f2p shooter, very different from other things on the market. not a huge fan of terminal attack but I simply don't play it. wish there was cashout ranked, otherwise an incredible game and I would highly recommend

One of the best multiplayer experiences I've had in gaming. Incredibly fun to play with friends, working together really is the name of the game here. Steam Play Together worked well, but would probably be even better with couch co-op. Highly recommend!

This game is an absolute masterpiece. I'm not a game "replayer", once I beat something I typically don't go back to it. I have 240 hours at the time of this review and I haven't even finished the game once. There is just SO MUCH to do and so many different choices to make, I've always found myself restarting before completion because I get a crazy idea I need to try in my next playthrough. This is the definitive way to experience dungeons and dragons for solo players or new players lacking a DM. It's a beautiful world and I'm so happy with what Larian put together here. 100% would recommend to ANYONE interested in RPGs.

Disclaimer: I'm pretty sure the reason for the mixed reviews is EU players not being able to get in because of the queue.

First off, this is my first real MMO in a long time. I played some Wildstar, but most of my MMO experience comes from Wizard101 and Trove when I was younger. I thoroughly enjoy this game. I found the story and leveling to be quite enjoyable, although a little long. I was able to grind it out in the first few days, but some of my friends still haven't gotten through it (about a week in) due to work, school, and playing other games.

The dungeons and gear systems feel fun and rewarding. I definitely feel like my character gets more powerful as I progress, although the classes do get a little stale after a while. They have a Diablo 3-like rune system for each spell, but once you hit 50 it stagnates a lot and your spells basically stop changing. Luckily, they give you 2 "power passes" to combat this which give you two more level 50 characters without having to grind through the story again. This definitely introduces a much needed change of pace. I was able to level a support class (bard) as my main character and still play a DPS I enjoy (sharpshooter). Also, because you can do pretty much everything once on each character, having 3 playable characters means 3x the endgame content. Very nice indeed.

Overall, a good, well rounded MMO imo. You can grind through the dungeons to get the gear you want or "gold baron" by using your stronghold and trade skills to earn currency to buy gear and skins from other players. The game isn't "pay to win" so much as "pay not to play" as PvP brings all characters to the same power level and PvE is done for the enjoyment of beating a boss with challenging mechanics with your friends/teammates.
