This is probably my favorite city builder since Banished. It can be as hard or easy as you want, and dealing with the water is like having a puzzle game layered on top the city builder. I tend to think of this as a less intimidating Oxygen Not Included.

This is one of the most charming puzzle games I have played in quite a while. The game is a interesting take on a language as a puzzle in the Tower of Babel, and story was well delivered, and didn't linger too long. Having a notebook handy for some parts is very useful.

Absolutely, yes! It has concepts from other genres, but the core game is an extraction driving. The anchors are the reward, and the more you get, the worse the anomalies will be during the extraction drive. The story is interesting, but even without that it has really good atmosphere.

This might be my favorite incremental game. This is not a clicker, but you can play it that way. It has a bunch of logistics things to get coordinated, and the UI is pretty impressive. It has you managing multiple settlements and trading between them to upgrade each settlement.

This is the best open world RPG game I have played. The RPG and storytelling are way better than its piers, and the action is very well executed. This might be one of the prettiest games ever, and it runs very well on older hardware. I played through it twice, in 2020 I played it around the holidays, and it was very good, but still pretty buggy. I waited for the DLC to return to Night City, and with the 2.0 skills update, and the bug fixes, it was a very polished game, and I only saw two bugs in 90 hours ( both were minor ).

This is my absolute favorite roguelike game. It is a very weird sci-fi world with crazy mutants, and you can be one of them. If you want something a bit different, this is the best answer.

Achra is basically a deconstructed roguelike and it works way better than it seems like it should. The build can get pretty crazy, and the goal is to find a synergy with the skills you take, and the gear you find on the run.

The game has been getting a bunch of updates, adding new classes and improving the gameplay. Thank you Ulfsire.

This game has inspired so many others, and the history that gets generated and created is really the selling point. At first you won't have any idea what to do, then when you start to get things sorted out, the goblins show up. Even if you get a stable and strong fortress, there is always another construction project that would make life better for your dwarves.

There is more game here than it seems at first. I played the demo, and thought it was going to be ok, but then found that it really is a lot of fun. This game is focused on the logistics, and is fairly chill. That said watching your cities flood the first time can be startling. I am not done with this game, but I am already looking forward to doing better the next time.

This is the most addictive game I have played in a long time. It has loads of things to do, and trickles them out at a slow pace, so you get time to do them all. Just exploring the world takes a while, and not all of it accessible until you have warmed up the planet.

I can see getting a ton of hours out of this, and I am looking forward to the updates in early access. ( I put about 80 hours in during early access ).

EDIT - my initial thoughts on 1.0 - Wow, the multiplayer is a wonderful addition, and works fantastically. I can't wait to unlock the new parts of the tech tree, but this is a model for other early access titles.
