This is possibly the best board game to computer game port that I have ever played. It has all of the charm of the board game, and the inclusion of network as well as hotseat play modes is nicely done.

Probably the best version of Left 4 Dead ever created. The levels are well designed, and stunning to look at. Tou have to level up your characters and pick a build type, and gear them up. That almost RPG piece is interesting, but can make it seem tough to just jump in for new players, but just play on lower difficulties, and even random pickup groups work well at lower difficulties.

This is from the same people who made Flower and Journey ( PS3 titles ). They took what they learned there, and cranked it up a couple notches. It only took me 2 hours to play the entire game, but it felt like the correct length, and the story had been told. The game is beautiful and the sense of swimming is done well. The sound design and music is as good as any game I have ever played, and I hope they won some awards for it. You need a controller, and the only thing worth noting is I didn't find a center camera control, which would have been helpful at times. Regular price is about $20, and it is viewed as overpriced due to the length, it is worth it. I left it on my PC and will return to it, just like I did Journey on the PS3.

This used to be a really good free to play, but they have spent the last year just breaking the game, and turning it into a console money grab. A big part of the Omega branding is to monetize things that have historically been farmable or easily obtained. At this point I can't recommend it to anyone, and certainly not on PC. The community is dying and most are quite angry about it. Gaz has made a series of awful changes to the game, and ignored player feedback for months.

--- update from June 2017 ---
Between the nerfs and the "biggest update ever" they really sort of broke the game. The Omega gear has been pending, and was the 2nd half of the BUE that shipped in Jan ( 6 months ago ). There has been no new content in over a year now, and Gaz is focused on their upcoming console releases. They nerfed the movement, summoning, and melee builds.

As of the summer of 2017 Elder Scrolls Online and Path of Exile the best in class for the f2p games.

--- my original review from August 2016 ---
This is one of the best free to play games I have ever played. There is a ton of stuff to do, and most can be done with friends, or solo. The end game is a set of three weekly raids that can be completed in a couple hours. The PVP is bad, and nobody really does it, which leads to a fairly pleasant community. There is one thing that players should buy -- STASH ( shared hero storage ).

This is as good as any Diablo clone out, and much better than Diablo 3 was. It really is free to play, none of the transactions help you win, and the game won't ask you for money. The gem/skill system is interesting and more complex than it initially seems. The passive skill tree/graph is amazing, and will let you create almost any type of character you want. Your initial class just determines the starting point.

Valve actually topped L4D with the sequel, it is a great coop shooter.

It has all the action you expect, but requires team work to excel. The game modes, and maps added over the years make this one of the best multiplayer shooters ever made.
