People seem to overstate the crushing difficulty of this DLC. It's not easy but no harder than Prey, maybe even less so. It's trivial to rack up a lot of currency fast by just doing whatever during a run and escaping before the difficulty scale increases too much. And the time limit. Let me tell you about that time limit. It... doesn't matter very much. I only found myself hitting the time limit once throughout an entire playthrough, and it's rather easy to circumvent once you have enough points to consistently buy time loops.

All in all, this is hard for me not to recommend. It's the wonderful gameplay of Prey, condensed into a highly replayable form with it's own interesting environments, multiple playable characters, some semblance of a story, and more. Perhaps not worth the $20 individual asking price, but anyone looking to get Prey should get the edition that includes this too.

All the positive reviews for this game can really only be jokes or just downright fake. My very first impression of this game was it opening SteamVR despite not being a VR game, and not a single one of the three volume sliders working. After that, I quickly learned that it isn't even playable with my rig, which contains an RTX 3070 and a Ryzen 5 3600XT. Even with ray-tracing off, even with the graphics on the lowest setting, I get 20 fps or less. This poor performance is even fairly evident in the trailers for the game itself (particularly the third one). Despite the rather dull graphics, I still think I could probably enjoy this for half an hour or so, but as it stands, the framerate leaves me no option to have fun.

Finally got the end of the story, and boy what a journey it was. I don't have the words to describe how much I enjoy this game, but it's without a doubt my favourite Souls-like on PC.

Honestly, a game who's developer steeps as low as to remove it from a platform it released on so that it can be exclusive to another platform deserves to be review bombed.

Everything about this game is beautiful.
