This seems like a joke meme game at first, and It's levels played linearly, but if you can get past the lack of open progression and silliness (which ends up being a strength), it's actually a legit Metal Gear style game in its own right. There are constant stop-and-go moments for dialogue and cutscenes, but there's even a setting to make the skip button skip faster, making it totally possible to speed run it or skip cutscenes during later runs. the story and dialogue and humor are the main core of it, but also it looks amazing, exactly how I'd want a Metal Gear game to look. And the sound and music are great too, not to mention the voice acting being really good.
