Full of cheaters, some of the worst ranked matchmaking I've ever encountered, servers with terrible laggy performance and only 4 maps.
The destruction is good but even that is detrimental to gameplay sometimes. Despite my above complaints the primary reason I don't recommend The Finals is because of the amount of cheating, if Embark and or Easy Anti Cheat get on top of it (along with a few other tweaks and more maps) it could or will be a decent game... if there's any players left by then, but at the moment far too many rounds and tournaments are ruined by cheaters.
It's a shame really because the FPS market needed something new and The Finals of could been it, but it isn't in its current state.
Give it a go, it's free to play and no pay to win bs.

EDIT: After 2 days of trying to find some kind of fix for this game and Windows 10 I finally found one thanks to Federico Dossena (adolfintel) http://adolfintel.com/ . As bizare as it as it might sound the fix is to copy 2 files from a Skyrim ENB mod http://enbdev.com/patch_tesskyrim_antifreeze_v0096.htm into the games installation folder and that fixes the fps issue in windows 10. However the game still has a couple of issues, after each mission you may get a black screen; this is easy to work around, simply alt+tab to desktop then alt+tab back to the game. The other is occasional crash to desktop after a mission.

If you don't mind updating and modding the game yourself; and can put up with the odd crash to desktop then Wings over Europe is a pretty good semisim game, with well modelled aircraft.
Here's my video on how I got it working on Windows 10 x64.

2.4 FPS! (yes two point four frames per second) on Windows 10 x64. 0% GPU usage (RX 480 8Gb). 12% CPU usage (FX8120 @4.5GHz).
I tried many different graphics settings, downloading the patch (because Steam doesn't automatically do it) and running it in compatibility mode for Vista and XP but nothing improved the FPS to a leval that made the game playable.

Its a shame really because the game looks pretty decent if your looking for a semi sim 3rd/4th gen fighter air combat game.

Don't buy the Steam version, it doesn't include the x64 files and doesn't run on newer OS's/ systems. Steam really shouldn't be selling this non working and incomplete product, or is it now the norm for Steam games for one to have to spend hours searching the web for fixes and unofficial 3rd party patches which may possibly contain malicous software.

Is that the point of buying games on Steam? I don't think so, bad form Steam.
