Sony has officially backpedalled on the requirement to have your PSN account linked, but the game is still restricted from purchase in 180 regions, over 2/3 of the world.

If they truly intend to not enforce PSN linking requirements, why keep the region restrictions? This just reeks of them intending to enforce the restrictions down the line, therefore locking anyone that still owns the game out of being able to play.

The game is fantastic, one of the best live service models I have seen in modern gaming, and it's a genuine tragedy that it was published under such a scummy publisher.
