I personally do not like the direction that newer hero shooter games are going and if you like the changes then play all you want but personally it isn't for me. The characters are terrible balanced with some doing insane amounts of damage with the easiest of weapons while other characters are insanely difficult and feel like they do almost nothing. Not only that but for some reason on some matches my computer ♥♥♥♥♥ itself while in a different match on the same map it works fine and plays perfectly. Some game modes are really unfun like the payload where you don't switch sides after either sides win instead you just get one round and that's it while for the control point game mode you have to get 2 wins. The abilities are also insane with so many skills and abilities which do unclear affects that it makes the battlefield confusing. For example the ankh with moon knight or cloak and daggers trail, you can glean that they are bad and you should avoid them but it isn't clear exactly what they do which makes it a guessing game on whenever it is worth it to go into those areas to try and make a play or should you avoid those areas at all cost, if they slow you down, stun you, or hurt you. The hit registration goes crazy sometimes with melee characters feeling like they have to little range sometimes and its really annoying to kill more mobile classes because the hit registration doesn't count it even if your right on top of them. Ranged characters feel like their projectiles have giant hit boxes or your character does but I can forgive that because some characters are super mobile and it would be impossible to hit some characters when they are jump, climbing, and etc. Some movement abilities also seem so strange with characters like moon knight having a glide which moves super slow which just feels goofy to me. But some movement abilities for some characters are really jarring with characters like wolverine having a weird jump which arcs in an unnatural way or wall climbing and running feeling kinda useless in the middle of a fight and jank as all hell with you having to choose if you wanna run or walk on a wall by clicking your mouse. Their is stun abilities like in other hero shooters which always feel jarring in almost every video game that you fight against it. I feel like it has a goodish base game but with so many hero's at the start it is really confusing what hero's do what and what roles they are. For example one would not naturally assume that Doctor Strange who is a literal wizard with magic would be a front like tank or that Magneto who is a literal old man who has magnet power and just shoots metal pieces from far away and is not known at all for his physical strength and fortitude would be a tank. One would not expect Rocket Raccoon to be a support character rather than a duelist like The Punisher or that a character named Cloak and Dagger would be a strategist character rather than a assassin type character. The same idea goes for Loki as I and I believe others would think of him as a duelist character with the abilities to create clones/turrets that do most of the damage or an assassin character who uses illusions and invisibility, but instead he is actually a strategist. I personally do not like the direction that newer hero shooter games are going and if you like the changes then play all you want but personally it isn't for me
