Slapped my nuts clean off

Without even noticing I managed to accumulate over 180 hours of gameplay in the beta alone, so I can confidently say within my first few hours of the full release that the game remains as delightful as ever.
It's so nice to see all those changes coming together for this beloved final product! Darkest Dungeon 2 keeps you hooked in with its intense moments of despair as your heroes start falling only for them to surpass all odds (or perish really). I love the added lore, I love the added relationships, I LOVE that they let you make the game easier or harder through the Torches.
What can I say, I'm a huge Darkest Dungeon fan. Good work, Red Hook!

Definitely a game you should try since its free anyway. I liked the mechanics a lot! It's a fairly simple puzzle once you figure it out but interesting enough to keep you engaged while you try for the solution. Nice little experience

This ♥♥♥♥ slaps so hard I became a deckbuilder fan

Darkest Dungeon is one of my favorite games of all time. Period.
It tells you straight away to not get attatched to characters, talks about how expendable they are in your "adventure" and is very sarcastic about your feelings towards them.
But then you go into the dungeons, and boy... Every fight can get turned from bad to worse, from okay to impossible... and from hopeless to triumphant. The stress mechanic adds a very unique feel to the game, it puts you closer to these characters, it has you rooting for them, screaming at the screen. It really gets under your skin! And every victory feels good! Very good! It gives hope again! It makes you feel like yes! I can do this!!!
This game is punishing, but its also rewarding, not in the items you get, but in the sheer rush you get from success. I just can't get over Darkest Dungeon, man...

You know... There are some games that just take you to a diferent place, put you in a different world and make you forget the real world around you. Pathologic does that but it feels more like you're being sent to a realer reality. I've never been so stressed, yet so desperate to do something before. It's really a very cool and unique experience, if not bizarre and I really enjoyed it. It's hard, and you're gonna make mistakes and you'll pay for those mistakes, but the game moves on, and so do you.

I absolutely recommend this

The game is just amazing. It deals with a lot of problems that are very relatable to young adults these days. I felt very connected to the character and the narrative. The artstyle is so nice and the immersion and atmosphere is just... wow... I really loved it and definetly recommend it.

Esse jogo é INCRÍVEL! A arte é de tirar o fôlego e as animações são absurdas. Ele tem um equilíbrio super bom entre momentos de calma com exploração e cenários lindos e batalhas frenéticas com mecânicas mais complexas do que eu pensava que teria. Achei super interessante as interfaces e interações com outros NPCs. Só achei mei difícil usar o mapa, mas pra mim isso não foi um problema tão grande assim.
Jogo 10/10 amei pacas, entrou na minha lista de favoritos com certeza.
