I played this way before it came to Steam and I enjoyed what I got out of it but left the game out of principle because of you-know-who's involvement of the evil monetizing practices. Seeing how things are handled now put me at better ease and the game is a lot more fun but it might be /a lot/ for newbies. All in all, I love the game now and its in the good hands of Bungie.
