Regretful and disappointed.
I have about eighty-four hours invested into Edge of space. (with about one third of my time in pre-release, over 404 hours in Terraria in comparison). It was exhilarating to see a game with the science-fiction setting in the genre. I wanted to like this game, but it's been a letdown overall. Exploration and expansion become quite hindered by your armor and weapons. Crafting remains over-complex and tedious. It is all too easy to sink hours looking for resources that are a little -too- scarce. Items take sometimes a half-dozen ingredients to make (which themselves take several crafting stations). In comparison to Terraria, most items take three or fewer (excluding endgame content). This game is an example of a great premise bogged down by poor development. This is one of the few games I keep trying every so often to see if they've fixed it, and so far they haven't. I'm not yet at the point where I wish I could trade or return it, but I'm not too far from that either.

Hey, I just wanted to say that if you want a sci-fi game similar to Terraria, try Starbound if you havent already. It's early access, but its a great game, with a hard working dev team who let you try out what they are working on. If you have played it already, then good review.
