Bungie is taking a different approach to this expansion than Forsaken. Content will be released over the course of the year through 4 seasons. If you enjoy Destiny and the gameplay loop, you'll enjoy this, but I recommend trying the free base game first.

Overall, I would say Shadowkeep is a good start and worth the purchase
