this game is quite good. atsmospheric as all get out. quite possibly the best game ever made. 10/10 would play again and again.

that being said there are a couple things you will want to do, in order to make it playable on modern PCS's. first of all being using NVSE (new vegas script extender) alongside some bug fix mods and a LOD generation mod.

on top of those get new vegas stutter remover. it makes the game play at 60 or even 144hz. but make sure to change 2 of the values in the sr_new_vegas_stutter_remover.ini. these being, bHookCriticalSections, and bHookLightCriticalSections, set them both to zero. otherwise you will experience crashes every 10 or 15 minutes. The INI in question can be found in the NVSE folder, under the plugins folder.
