When I was a 12 year old gamer I regularly did raids with 40 year old adults in MMORPGs. Being on the internet means interacting with humans of all ages - both minor and adults. 10 year olds and 70 year olds.

If a child isn't ready to have regular human interactions online then they shouldn't be online. Steam is an online platform for all age groups, buddy. Either learn to accept that you'll be interacting with adults or learn how to block them or, even better, get off the internet and stick to kindergarten.... but wait, you'll be interacting with adults there too! That's unfortunate.

Also life advice: don't reveal your actual age on the internet ever. Your parents should've taught you that if they did their job properly.
