I didn't ask for Shadow the Hedgehog's story to get continued through Generations... but I'm all for it this was amazing! Ran insanely well on my computer too, unlike 99% of games released recently.

Buy OverDrift Festival, better drifting mechanics, better grindability, no microtransactions (you can buy more cars with the Overpass) and it doesn't feel like your clutch is attached to the pavement.

2012 Jeep Wrangler is a certified trash can on wheels. I cannot for the life of me get this mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to turn a corner without becoming a 2000lb beyblade? My left and right buttcheek are spread farther apart then the tires on this cardboard box of a vehicle. The stock engine tops out at 170mph (not even). And if you dare use it on a steering wheel, might as well close the game and purchase a Jeep just to instantly 180 and flip the car. -1000 Social Credit

THEY DIDNT REMOVE ANY CARS, STOP SPREADING THE LIES!

They added 10 BRAND NEW cars, the original cars are ALL still accessible without Overpass. Genuinely delete your review if you are one of these people, absolute lying ♥♥♥♥♥.

Also the F150 and Impala are absolutely fire, can't wait to finish the overpass! Great update.

This is one of my most played games of last year, and there's no big catch to it. Stardew Valley itches that need I had for a truly calm video game experience.

Any "stress" you will encounter in game is very minimal, and you can only really stress yourself out. For any gamers that are used to fast paced, action genre-only type games, my advice is to accept the nature of slower games. And if you suffer with ADHD/ADD or anything similar (like myself), just know that this game personally helped me control my attention span much better. Not saying this game cures bad attention span, but the fact it was made the way it was just makes you appreciate every small detail throughout your journey.

My main advice/takeaway from this is to try this game out, for AT LEAST the first in game YEAR. It's not that long to do, I wouldn't rush through it, and don't be afraid to use articles/wikis to get more info while playing! (EVERYONE WHO PLAYS THIS GAME HAS!!!!!!!!!!) This game will help you through any boring night, help you through forgetting a bad day, or just be the perfect game when its thundering outside!

Personal Rating (out of 100): 95

Only flaw: I never collected every Golden Coconut...

This game is a vibe when you just want to relax.

While Japan still isn't finished, they finally fixed how income works in Update #12. I'm pleasantly surprised, although i hope they adjust the physics to be less "Icy" as players tend to complain about in lobbies.

*IF YOU LOVE ARCADE RACING, THIS GAME SLAPS!!*

Is this game worth $70? If I'm being honest, yes. Most people who are drawn to this new Need For Speed clearly haven't played a racing game since the Blackbox Era. And you can tell, because most negative reviews for Unbound are people saying "This isn't Most Wanted 2005." "This isn't Carbon."

If you're main comparison to a racing game is one from a decade and a half ago, you're delusional. Just look at any well received racing game from the current Era, and realize that Arcade racers are far and few between these days. The only racing games played are simulation-type games. Forza Horizon has been dominating the racing genre because Arcade racers have been slept on for a long time.

Need For Speed: Unbound took the formula of the simulation-like experience of NFS: Heat and added one of the most satisfying boost systems I've ever had the pleasure of using. The two seperate bars of nitrous for auxiliary and passive is probably the most innovative change the series has taken besides the artistic direction. You won't find a game that has cornering like Unbound, but its still comprehensive and is very fun to learn.

The graphics and art style of this game are unmatched. Forza Horizon takes the cake for raw graphics over Unbound for sure, but the art style and character definitely gives it an edge for the Arcade Racing experience. And for anyone wanting to turn graphical effects off completely needs to stop complaining, you can't just have a game do whatever you want. That's a childish view and its plastered over most negative reviews for this game.

The biggest takeaway from my review is that you shouldn't expect a Most Wanted 2005, and you shouldn't expect a simulation racer. It's so sad looking at all of the negative reviews, fueled by anger, likely due to not giving the game an honest chance. I'd say don't let the overall Mixed rating for this game discourage you from purchasing it. If you actually want the game, you'll buy it. And Summer Sale is right around the corner anyways.

This game is the absolute best modern take on a street racing game, which was refreshing when this game came out almost 3 years ago, as the best arcade street racers since were games like Midnight Club:LA, NFS:MW 2005, and Burnout Paradise. Games that have all (even before Heat's launch) been out for a decade. The racing genre was somewhat of a joke aside from the Forza Horizon's and racing sims that are a whole different type of enjoyment.

That's why I'm proud to say this game is my favorite Arcade racer of the 2010's. The aesthetic of this game is banging, the bright colors and sharp shapes are complimented with street art and neon lights to immerse you in an experience. The direction they took payed off, because everything in this game looks amazing from the maps, menus, and the locations like gas stations that pop out while feeling in place with the world. The graphics in general are insane, and my only issue would be with the occasional bugging with decals seeming jagged at times, but overall not annoying or distracting from gameplay. I would describe the graphics in more detail but it would be easier to just look at the store page wouldn't it? ;) (I'm saving space this ♥♥♥♥ is kinda long.)

The gameplay itself is so immersive, and i don't mean that in the realistic sense. The controls have so much freedom with mechanics such as Live Tuning, allowing you to edit your minor control of a car, and makes a big difference once you get to making serious builds. The driving feels as arcade-like as you would imagine, you could tell the developers cared about making this one stand out from the previous two entries. This game will suck you into multiple hour-long sessions, especially if you play with friends or are just trying to get your next car, and will keep you engaged with enough content to question why Payback was released in the first place.

I played this game when it first came out, but now getting a copy on my PC, I am really happy i played this game again. The story was interesting enough to keep me engaged, but the clear focus was on the gameplay and progression. This game is meant to be loved, and it sucks that there haven't been racing games like this nowadays (again, i am referring to Arcade-style racers, not sims) where i can say that same thing for. If you want a modern Most Wanted 2005, this is honestly the closest to that you will get for now. It's definitely its own game, but seeing as NFS 2012 and Payback felt shallow and a bit underwhelming despite the overall improvements they were working towards, I'm glad that Heat delivered on an experience that me and my friends can have a blast in.

Rating: 90/100
Best Aspects: Gameplay, Graphics, Replay-ability, Map Design
Worst Aspects: Soundtrack (can be muted! Imo listen to your own music), Lobby functionality, EA Origin exists.
