Yeah I mean for me they all messed up with my resolution and had to alt4, and sometimes altf4 didnt even work tbh, so from my point of view had i liked the old ones enough obviously i had bought this remaster.. and theres lots of trust you have to put and sometimes even bother to search mods and stuff ... I mean my point of view is I dont buy a half eaten cake XD why buy something you have to work on but thats only me.. BUT sure I see your point too if they work for you why the hefty price lift for a facelift true from your point of view also ..
TBH about tomb raiders in general I do find the latest tomb raider what was it even called quite hard to get into and the puzzles in it much harder htan the previous ones XD

I forgotten the resolutions, yes... I always play games with the "scaling on graphics card" option of the Nvidia Pannel, so the old games works fine, (with black bands on the sides, tho).
But they works fine ^^
And they are free mods which 'remaster' them (and in a better way maybe), so it's not worth it in the end, right?

Hiya mate, just writing here since I dont want to start a one on one messaging in forums XD well personally I disagree but thats just me the old versions to me did mess up my resolution all the time and I had no clue that anniversary was remake of 1 .. tbh .. but Its okey to disagree totally fine by me .. But I personally didnt buy the remastered version since well tomb raiders are just too I dunno -- played the 3 new games but not the 3rd game thru but these old ones are a bit of another genre and quite hard as well with the jump scares too more ..

I can go back, but only for SP for now. Not on servers. As you said it's hard to find a good server.
The best for me could be a PvE or RP one but with loot x3 or even x4. But yes, it will be too buggy. I didn't see real issues in SP since the last hotfix, so i think i will play a little bit at my SP game from time to time. I'd like to try how work agriculture one day ^^

It's somewhat bearable now. Still all about PvP though. Servers can be a bit laggy time to time. And depending on your preference's it can be a hassle to find a server to fit your needs. Like a Pvpve is really hard to come by. Even just a straight PvE server is hard to find.

Would I recommend coming back? Depends if you're really bored. But if you're a veteran I wouldn't recommend it.
