Picked up the deluxe edition since it was on sale.

It's ace combat, really can't go wrong there. The extra plane sets you purchase are unlocked from the beginning which is kind of annoying, makes things pretty easy having a murder machine while the enemies are flying toasters... Just avoid the plane sets and you have a solid, balanced game.

2Hrs playtime as of writing this, have not gotten to dig too deep into this game but man is it fun so far!

Gameplay is essentially Civ+XCOM+Heroes of Might and Magic, and it seems to take only the best of influences from each of these games!

Personally I'd wait on getting the season pass because although its a solid game, I'm not a fan of paying in advance for content I know nothing about. Lets hope the development continues well and this game gets super polished/balanced..

The action puzzle platformer you never knew you needed in your life

Lovely game, lovely devs, all around fun. Nothing quite like it exists and these guys are killing it!

Pretty fun game, would love to see a multiplayer mode.

Only cons
-Difficulty should be re-worked.
--Hard mode is too easy and next level up is 'Extreme' which I'm finding a lot more difficult.
-Some factions are cool but are impossible to play on higher difficulties if you get a bad spawn.

Game just needs some work on re-balancing it but for the price and enjoyment you'll get out of it, its worth it if it interests you.

Was a nice controller for my living room setup but I feel the battery housing is poorly designed. I had a battery explode get stuck in one and I now have no way to remove it.. I still recommend it but be careful with using cheap batteries as they are near impossible to remove if they fail.

For the people complaining about lack of content, bugginess, and cheaters. I guess you lack basic reading comprehension and missed the fact that this is an early access game.

This game is super promising, the developers seem to be actively watching what the community says and are trying hard to make the game more stable and fix game-breaking bugs/issues. If you know what you're getting into and want to support the game, by all means buy it and help test things out. Keep in mind you are more or less a tester for the game, not necessarily a player. Whether you play the game as normal or purposely try to break it your goal is to find bugs, report the bugs and bring things up within the community discussion boards here and on reddit.

What you're in for is a pretty basic survival game with laggy players, combat logging, cheating, and a hell of a lot of bugs. It's your duty as an early access player to endure through all that and help put in the work to report, discuss, and test problems in the game. If you are someone who doesn't get upset over getting killed by pure BS and can see past the current issues, please buy it and support it. Know that this is a really ambitious project that needs a dedicated community to be sure it's steered in the right direction and motivates the developers to continue on with the project.

Please don't buy this game if you're skeptical about their claims, wait a few months and then buy it ;)

Do you like long load times, stuttery graphics on hardware that is more than capable of running the game, and a cocktease of a story? If so, this is the game for you!

Just as the game gets good and you start diving into the conspiracy it ends, now we get to wait for that sweet sweet dlc so Square can pump it's userbase for more and more cash! I feel bad for those who paid full price for this extended teaser.

The game itself, however, is fantastic! I love the design and feel of the whole game, I love the new augs, I love the upgraded hacking minigame, I love the characters, I love where the story is going. I'm just upset by the way this is being released, it sucks to see a great game be ruined by greed. I'd suggest not paying for this game and it's future DLC, punch them in their wallets for being greedy.

Do not, for the love of god, let the calming music at the menu make you think this game will be a happy calm time. This game has, by far, the most amazing story that will actually make you feel pure despair and make you greatly question your choices. My head still aches from making the final choice in the game, I feel wrong for being happy about my descion.

If you wanna smile, laugh, get confused, angry, then fall into a deep pit of depression... this game is for you.

I've seen complaints about the end, personally the game was enough of a ride itself to make it worthwhile. The way the story goes really only does leave you with four noticable options and they only gave us two. I see how that's upsetting but it surely isn't a reason not to reccomend this masterpeice.

My opinion as to what could easily have made good thrid and fourth options:

Ending 3: Get everyone to evacuate the town a few days before the storm

Ending 4: When the player is in the same timeline as when William was alive give them the option to stop the car accident and fix Chloe's life and just live happily ever after maybe jailing Jefferson too.
