One of the more unsettling games I've ever played. Does just a fantastic job of setting and holding a tone, and with a lot more than just the soundtrack. A lof of "creepy" games are just content to play creepy noises at you, or put in you conventionally creepy places (oh hey I'm in an abandoned hospital again) but Paratopic knows how to do more with less. It drags you through creepy areas, but the creepy areas from your every day life. The small, edge-case areas you end up in. The developer talks about liminal spaces on her twitter, and you can see how much thought has gone into what actually makes a place feel "in-between" and how to use that to good effect.
