Best game about flopping around with your friends. Actually hilarious how easily and badly you can mess up.

When I first laid eyes on Potionomics' steam page I didn't think much of it other than "Woah that's a pretty damn good artstyle." But for one reason or another I ended up purchasing it on launch week, on a whim, and I never once regretted that decision.

This game is a mix of number-puzzle (for potions mixing) and dating/friendship sim with the interplay of time management between managing your shop and managing your social life, all tied up in one neat package littered with great writing, amazing animations and passionately original music.

I agree with most people that this game doesn't hold any punches especially when it comes to time management, because it can get extremely stressful to plan out your in-game schedule, or to fly by the seat of your pants, but in any case that didn't detract from the absolute wonder this game is.

The world and the characters all immersed me in this, admittedly cliche (but effective) plotline. Everything feels like they occupy the same space with one another, interacting and molding around whatever happens in the game.

In a smaller note for comparison: imagine this game as a Persona game but instead of RPG mechanics you have potion-making mechanics.

All-in-all, extremely happy with this game and so SO appreciative of all the hardwork put into the game. If Voracious Games plan to go further into the world of Rafta and its denizens, I would love to immerse myself once again, what can I say, they knew how to Reel Me In.

Who knew mixing drinks for people could be such a good gameplay agency!

A gift that keeps on giving from start to finish. The beginning might be slightly slow, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does it steamroll itself into the "Overwhelmingly Positive" category.

Loved every single minute of this game; a definite master-class in visuals, innovative gameplay, and impactful writing.

Honestly, I would want to clock more hours after I finished my first playthrough, but I don't want to replay this game just so that Benny can finally be at peace.

Me and my friends suffered through almost every grueling map just to solve the mystery of Bob and his notes. We had to deal with so many hurdles, from uncooperative physics to unclear instructions, along with a boatload of glitches. All of that just to finally reach a secret room that had the worst, and I emphasize, WORST pay-off to all your hard work trying to clean the maps and look for notes.

Not recommended, we wasted 20 hours in this game.
