Why do I need to create an account to a service that acts as a hacker rite of passage? Sony services have been hacked enough times that I am no longer comfortable with having a PSN account. Nor was it required in the past for the game to function properly.

Netcode part of it is worst thing that happened this year. Even worse than the whole The Day Before as game. I'm getting constant packet loss.

Constant frametime issues, network code is also the worst one yet of any CS game. CS:GO was outdated but was a working product. CS2 is more "fresh" but it still feels like an alpha/beta product not full release.

Very fun and comfy game. Story wise it's good too, nothing groundbreaking but perfect for this game. Gameplay wise it feels like Breath of the Wild at home. Overall strongly recommend for a simple, relaxing game.

Hard to pick a GOTY for 2023 between this and Hi-Fi Rush for me at the moment of writing. Great remake while not making original obsolete, manages to hit same highs as original RE4.

Everyone is raving about how good this game is and for good reasons. It's such a nice breath of fresh air in terms of AAA games that it's amazing. Gameplay wise it's Devil May Cry mixed with Metal: Hellsinger. If you're unsure about how that plays, just try it on GamePass or go in. I 110% recommed it because it's just that fun and feels like a product made out of passion not out of necessity. Story wise you're not going to find anything groundbreaking but the story it's here is perfect for this game.

Updating for Steam Awards: game is still phenomenal

Because all CoDs are now one title on Steam, this review was for Modern Warfare 2, I've updated it because of Black Ops 6 beta to just include two sentences: it's garbage. It feels like the only way they thought of iterating over the multiplayer is to now increase the pace to the point it feels like you need to take some speed in order to keep up.
tl;dr Game is fun but has some serious problems that may be a turn off.

Campaign just like in MW2019 is great though feels less punchy (think Piccadilly from MW2019), and MP is great but whoever designed matchmaking here should get a reality check in designing games. I haven't seen such idiotic implementation of matchmaking in ages. The issue is SBMM, which is stupidly designed to punish you if you even try to play above average. Usual scenario is one win, then afterwards you might as well queue up, and do something else for next three or four matches unless you enjoy playing with esport tryhards.

If you really want SBMM in your game then just keep it in ranked and not force it if someone wants to play this game casually. Use the Souls meme here of "git gud" on but I don't want to and will not bother to keep up with whole meta game just to have fun. SBMM might work in paper and I haven't yet found a game to prove to me that the idea is beyond redemption, but what is being shown here is just flat out idiotic.

Then you also have technical part of it. This is a case of your mileage may vary but this game crashes hard. Sometimes you might play few matches and everything will be good, other times expect to not even play 5 mins into a match before a crash to desktop. But hey, at least the in-game real world currency shop works.

I'm still gonna be playing it despite what I've written above as there is fun to be had here, but this is a case of higher highs, lower lows.

Update (02.01.2023): Crashes are now gone. But I'm not going to change my review into positive one since SBMM is still trash. It makes sense for ranked modes, but having it for casual modes is beyond stupid. This is especially more annoying when attempting to finish camo challenges. All the time you've been playing and getting matched against relatively good players? Well, your guns are now trash but players are still the same.

Gameplay wise it's the best Persona so far.
Audio visual presentation is also top notch.
Story wise I feel like 3 was better. Persona 5 story was great until it fell into boring trap of JRPGs aka final boss being a God.

Only downside is there's a scalling issue which can cause pixelation problems. Easily solved on Steam Deck by running the game in 1080p and using 75% resolution scaling which while that sentence maybe makes it sound hard, it's very easy to do.

How can someone in good faith add a battle pass system but still not figure out a way to make it so both teams are using different player models? Relying on a small blue-ish triangle above teammates to distinguish friend or foe is idiotic especially given low time to kill. Grind also doesn't help but that might not be that big of a problem to you considering the price tag. One other aspect that I'm not sure about is hit registration. Given around 40 ping I felt a good chunk of hits not registering.
