LET IT ROT

I've been playing this for 6 hours at the time of writing and I have yet to defeat the first boss.
This isn't a bad thing as I've accumulated gold rations to start to see the roguelike element shine through, upgrades, expanding upon my skills and I've been slowly understanding the attack patterns of the enemies. The gameplay loop is tight and mesmerizing with challenges with the random invasion events that keep you on your toes as you build up your character preparing for the boss as best as one can.
With all this said I will be transparent that the performance isn't the best off the bat with i7 processor, 4070super, 32gbs of ram, my machine would manage 30-60 frames, sometimes dipping to 10 it would seem. What I did in the meantime till a performance patch is put through I halved my foliage settings, shadow settings and any other graphic settings I turned it down to half. This fixed my FPS issue for the moment. This worked for me and I hope this works for you as I assure the gameplay is worth it. (I've only played solo so far and I can't wait to check out multiplayer)

If you want a fair competitive shooter that isn't ridden with cheaters then don't play this game.

This game was pretty mid. Story wasn't really that captivating...

This is just a short and simple review/opinion on the game I'll probably come back to and edit later but I am beyond in love with this game. They are doing so many things right for visuals, progression and gameplay so far for being early access. I'm thrilled to see where Coffee Stain Studio takes this IP in the future. <3
