DO NOT BUY!!!
The PC port of the game has disgusting performance issues. I can run GTA 5 on max settings no problem, but this game stutters so hard even on medium settings. I have tried everything, there are many forums and youtube videos trying to get this game to work for people, which is already a red flag, why would we need to go into the games files and adjust things and change ini settings just to run the game properly?! And even once I have done EVERYTHING that I have found online to make the game smooth, there is just disgusting stuttering that you won't be able to get rid of. You will spend HOURS trying to make the game run OK but it won't.

Rockstar has forgotten about the existence of this game and they could fix it with one update but they won't because there is no online microtransaction money. This should be taken off the steam store until it's actually playable on PC.

[EARLY ACCESS]

it's got good artistic style and it's really easy to learn (partly because there is very little content here)

Although it has singleplayer or multiplayer choice, currently there is only one game mode, and it's a very repetitive mode, the early stages are a little exciting but once you get +20 gold you really don't worry about anything. Again, it has very little content to offer.

The multiplayer is interesting, it has more of a learning curve than the single player mode because singleplayer AI is very predictable

Gameplay is OK, it's a bit clunky and it has various bugs and glitches, my troops kept getting stuck on the fence next to the armoury, so the enemy would breach the gates while my guys were just standing around waiting for them

There's no music, so it feels really empty, and the sound effects are hilarious at best, really bad at worst.

It has a lot of potential though, and if the developer digs deep and fills the cracks, this game could be one of those games you can just play with a bunch of your friends and have a laugh.

Although in it's current state you're gonna be bored after a few games.

Early Access Review
I have no sound in the game, absolutely none, I have spent more time trying to fix the problem than actually play the game, still no sound. I have looked online to find a solution, apparenlt people have been having this problem for years, and the devs still do nothing about it, I couldn't even push myself to finish the tutorial. 0/10

if or when the problem is fixed I will change review.

I absolutely love the game, it is almost (almost) flawless, for me at least. But after spending about an hour in the nation creator section and perfectly filling up the entire continent of America to my fantasy landscape, I'd like to say a very big ♥♥♥♥ YOU to which ever developer decided it was a good idea to put the "custom nation" button right below "random new world" button, because I misclicked two milimeters above, all my work was gone, and there is no way to bring it back, now I'm frustrated, I love the game, but just wanted to say ♥♥♥♥ you, that's all.

I really didn't want it to be so much like a shooter, I like customisable stories and role playing elements more, but even though it was not what I expected from it, it is still an incredible game, well worth the price.

Early Access Review
Even though the game is still in Early Access it's a really good survival simulator, there are tons of things you can do and Role Play in this game at it's current state, I prefer playing in the Vegan Mode because I'm not really looking for a FPS. More features are added frequently and the devs are quick to patch bugs. Still needs to have a little more story elements added in order to be more enjoyable (for me) but other than that it's definitely worth the money.
PROS:
+ Excellent role playing elements
+ Very good crafting system 10/10
+ Huge map with lots of things to do and collect at every inch.
+ You actually feel like you're surviving, every element (food, water, weather etc) has an effect
+ Constantly gets updates (On the menu it shows when the next update is)
+ Most bugs fixed quickly by devs
+ Enemies are challenging
+ Very nice graphics, sometimes (when you manage live for that long) you just sit back and look at how nice everything looks

CONS:
- Enemies can be too challenging, sometimes they attack you in massive hordes.. (needs to be fixed)
- Minor glitches here and there (it's expected as Early Access)
- NPC AI needs to be fixed, animals are too dumb sometimes.. (just casually walk into my fire and die)
- There needs to be more weapons rather than just a few axes a bow and a flare gun..
- Food problems.. (at it's current state) you don't need to look for food, just collect all the chocolate bars from the luggage, then save the game and come back, all the luggage will be full again.. you can have as many chocolate bars as you like.. (needs to be fixed)
- Water, there are lots of ways you can find water in the wild, these should be in the game, and why does soda somehow replenish thirst? Soda needs to be replaced with actual bottles of water.

All in all it's a good game for your money and it's still in early development so expect things to get better from here. If you're into survival, RPG, horror or management games you will like this.

Honestly, Mount & Blade is one of the best games ever created period. With so many mods and a helpful community, this game is hands down one of the most fun experiences I have had for the past few years.. Developers have made modding easier on purpose for the community, and with new mods coming out left and right, I never get bored of playing this game, ever. This game deserves every penny and more. I myself have a regiment of 30 people in the game, and we make regiment wars between other regiments in the multiplayer game. I love the Napoleonic wars DLC, 100 vs 100 pvp Napoleonic era game? Yes please!
